MY GOALS FOR 2011

BY

I don’t usually make New Year’s resolutions. I don’t believe in them. I believe that we should endeavor to be the best us we can be every day, and shouldn’t settle for less. But this is my list of goals for 2011, and I won’t stop striving to reach them if I mess up here or there, as most of us do with resolutions. So here they are:

1. To be a good child of God – This is ongoing. I don't know if I'll ever reach the highest level before I leave this earth.

2. To fully serve my God-ordained purpose – Who wouldn't want to do that?

3. To be able to give more – This is something I've been studying about in the Bible and elsewhere.

4. To be the best wife and mother I can possibly be – Again, who wouldn't want that?

5. To sign with an agent – A dream come true.

6. To sell my current manuscript – Another dream come true.

7. For the above manuscript to become an instant bestseller, once published. – Hey, I dream big.

So, there it is. Not a long list, and a good thing – those are tough things to accomplish. Thank the Lord I’ll have Him to provide what I need along the way!

What are your goals for 2011?
